This page gives the legal details of the website of Kumlegard Ryfylke Resort & Casino: who runs it, the status of the project, responsible gaming, and two statements about the domain name and about the local food tradition described on the site.

3. Status of the project

Kumlegard Ryfylke Resort & Casino is a planned resort in Ryfylke, on a fjord in south-western Norway. The exact location is to be announced. The resort has not been built, it is not operating and it does not take bookings. The opening date is to be announced.

All images on the website are artist's impressions. Layouts, areas and finishes may change during construction. Areas, capacities and numbers of rooms are planned figures and are subject to change. Joining the interest list is not a booking and creates no obligation.

4. Gaming and responsible gambling

The entertainment and gaming lounge described on the website is subject to licensing. Land-based casinos are not currently licensed in Norway. Casino games and gaming machines are offered only by the state-owned Norsk Tipping, which holds the exclusive right, and betting on horse racing is run by the Norsk Rikstoto foundation. The lounge will open only if Norwegian law permits it and the necessary licence is granted.

If it opens, it will be for adults aged 18 and over only, and identification will be checked at the door. The website contains no offers to gamble, no bonuses and no promotions.

5. Statement about the domain name

The domain name of this website is not connected with any restaurant, food delivery service or food producer, and this website is not affiliated with any business of that kind. The website sells no food, accepts no requests to supply or deliver food, and offers no goods of any kind. Food will be served only to guests at the resort, once it is built and open.

6. Statement about the local tradition

The website describes the custom, in parts of western Norway, of serving potato dumplings on a Thursday, and the plan to hold a weekly shared supper at the resort on that basis. This is a general description of the region and its customs. It is not culinary advice, not cooking instructions and not nutritional or health information, and it makes no claim that any particular version of the dish is the only correct one.

7. Names of other businesses

Where the names of other resorts or businesses are mentioned on the website, for example in an editorial comparison in the questions section, they are used for information only. These names belong to their owners. There is no connection between them and Kumlegard, and no endorsement is suggested either way.

8. Content and images

The texts, artist's impressions, design, name, logo and monogram on the website belong to the website owner or are used with permission. Their use is governed by our Terms of Service.

9. Language

The website is published in English, using British spelling. The website owner is based in Ukraine, and the owner details in the footer of each page are also given in English. If there is any difference between an English legal text on this website and a translation of it, the English version applies, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

10. Accessibility

We have tried to make the website easy to use for everyone: it can be navigated with a keyboard, it respects the reduced motion setting of your device, its slideshow can be paused, and its colours have been checked for contrast.
